Welch Place is a 30-unit permanent supportive housing development focusing on single adults that will begin leasing in late 2025/early 2026. The Minnesota Housing funding award was accepted in December 2023. Site development will conclude in the Late Summer of 2024.
Minnesota Housing provided significant funding through Housing Infrastructure Appropriations (HIA), which are direct state appropriations not associated with issuing bonds and the state and federal requirements associated with tax-exempt bonds.

Design finalization is currently underway. LHB has taken on the project through its affordable housing design program.
